Tatra Trucks company won the prestigious Red Dot award for the design of the latest generation of Tatra Force model line
A few days ago, Tatra Trucks company achieved another great success. For the first time in its history, it won the Red Dot award in the Product Design category, even twice. Tatra Force vehicles of the latest third generation were decorated with this award, which is one of the most prestigious internationally in the field of design, while a version with a four-door cab was presented, as well as a version of the development line known as e-Drive with an electric traction motor and hydrogen fuel cells.

First TATRA PHOENIX sold to Germany

On March 3, 2011, the owner of BRB Baustoff-Recycling Burg GmbH & Co came directly to the TATRA manufacturing site in Kopřivnice to collect his new 8x8 TATRA PHOENIX one-way tipper equipped with a VS-Mont tipper body.
He was accompanied by a representative of a new TATRA Dealer, the Curt Schröter Nachf company (DAF Magdeburg). This customer found the TATRA PHOENIX interesting just because it was better than other competitors’ trucks. The BRB company has had good experience with TATRA trucks before, so, therefore, they appreciate that the TATRA truck company is marketing a brand new model.
The fleet of BRB Baustoff-Recycling Burg GmbH & Co consists of 17 8x8 tippers of different makes. Now, a TATRA PHOENIX has been added to them. Besides that, this company has a wide range of various machines such as caterpillar and wheel excavators, bulldozers, loaders and mobile crushers.
