TATRA Cup

1 August, 2011

It is going to be already the forth year that the cycling races of both non-handicapped and handicapped sportsmen will be held at the TATRA "Polygon" test track in Kopřivnice.

The Czech Cycling Cup 2011 for the youth and women, a road race of physically handicapped cyclists, cyclists on tricycles, handcycles and tandems of blind cyclists – all the sports events will be held directly at an attractive venue of the TATRA truck company's test track on August 20, 2011 starting at 12 o'clock. The event is organized by TATRA, a.s, Moravian Cycling Association, Ostrava, and Kociánka Sports Club, Brno.

The difficult 1,600m long track will test sportsmen's strength as it provides cycling with unique conditions – a long and treacherous climbing, as well as long downhill track stages. The fact it is not necessary to close roads and divert traffic is a great advantage. The entrance to the TATRA test track site will be possible through Gate No. 6 (the road from Lubina through Business Park); admission will be free.

Cheering audience will surely be a great support for all the competitors.
