TATRA PHOENIX at CTT 2012

9 July, 2012

The TATRA Company, together with its dealer the ATT Group, participated in the 13th international specialized exhibition of construction equipment and technologies CTT 2012 held from May 29 through June 2, 2012.

The CTT is the world's largest annual exhibition of construction equipment, which brings together leading manufacturers and suppliers of construction equipment and services every year. Since 2000, the exhibition has gained great authority and international recognition (area: 124,000 sqm, number of exhibitors: 790 companies, number of visitors: 28,269).

TATRA and the ATT Group presented two models of the AWD TATRA PHOENIX truck at their joint stand, namely a TATRA 158 – 8P5R33.341 6x6.2, and a TATRA 158 – 8P5R44.231 8x8.2. As a result of the famous TATRA chassis design, the new TATRA PHOENIX provides the same off-road capability as the famous T 815 TATRA series. Moreover, product technical availability and its service has been significantly improved thanks to the widespread DAF service dealer network around the country. Those two trucks, produced directly by the Czech TATRA factory, were very well accepted by journalists and customers during the exhibition.

TATRA professional drivers Lubomír Nevlud and Roman Krása, who were present at the exhibition, answered all the questions asked by visitors. Martin Najzr (Chief Marketing Officer of TATRA) also visited the exhibition to meet with customers and dealers.

Immediately after the exhibition, the trucks went to different customers around Moscow and Saint-Petersburg regions for testing and demonstration purposes. TATRA professional drivers provided quick operator/driver training during each demonstration, and customers had a possibility to experience all the benefits of the new TATRA for their businesses.

All the customers in Russia who experienced the values and benefits of TATRA vehicles during the exhibition and demonstration rides are now waiting for the beginning of their serial production for Russia, which will be launched in January 2013.
