Tatra Trucks company won the prestigious Red Dot award for the design of the latest generation of Tatra Force model line
A few days ago, Tatra Trucks company achieved another great success. For the first time in its history, it won the Red Dot award in the Product Design category, even twice. Tatra Force vehicles of the latest third generation were decorated with this award, which is one of the most prestigious internationally in the field of design, while a version with a four-door cab was presented, as well as a version of the development line known as e-Drive with an electric traction motor and hydrogen fuel cells.

TATRA TRUCKS buys back customers’ older vehicles in part-exchange for new ones
Four months ago, TATRA TRUCKS launched a new scheme for owners of older TATRA vehicles in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company buys back customers' existing Tatra trucks and offers special discounted part-exchange deals on new trucks. No other producer of goods/utility vehicles in either country offers this type of part-exchange buyback scheme.

166 fire trucks heading to Slovakia
Last week the TATRA TRUCKS company signed a binding contract for 166 fire trucks which it will produce for Slovakia. Although TATRA TRUCKS considered its direct participation in the tender, in the end it decided to opt for teaming up with a Slovak manufacturer of special superstructures.

Third Edition of Zbiroh Firefighting TATRA Meeting
The third edition of the so-called Zbirožské hasičské tatrování (transl. Zbiroh Firefighting TATRA Meeting) was held on September 7, 2013 in the Town of Zbiroh, not far from Pilsen, the Czech Republic. It was a meeting of users of TATRA firefighting trucks. This year it also featured shiny historical TATRA passenger cars and a white Police Tatra.
