Companies of Czechoslovak Group and Tatra to Exhibit at MSPO 2025 Defense Technology Fair in Kielce, Poland

26 August, 2025

Every year, at the beginning of September, defense and security technology manufacturers from all over the world gather in the Polish city of Kielce, where the MSPO fair is regularly held. It is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and no major manufacturer can be absent from it. For many years, companies belonging to the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) and Tatra have also been exhibiting at MSPO. During this year's 33rd edition, which will take place from September 2 to 5, these will be Tatra Export, Excalibur Army, Tatra Defence, MSM Group, Vývoj Martin, Pocket Virtuality and CSG Polska. The companies will present their products and services at a joint stand No. 4-F18 and also on outdoor exhibition areas 2Z-05 and 6Z-06.

Tatra Export, a subsidiary of the Tatra Trucks car manufacturer, which it will represent in Poland, will present the brand-new 3rd generation Tatra Force military trucks in a flatbed version with a 4x4 chassis at the outdoor exhibition in its Polish premiere. This medium tactical and logistical vehicle is equipped with a modernized air-cooled eight-cylinder Tatra T3-928 engine with electronic control and a Tatra transmission with a new electronic F-shift control system. The vehicle also has a new two-door cabin for a four-member crew, the design of which is characterized by many safety features and a modern interior including a digitalized dashboard. The vehicle has an empty weight of 11 tons, while it is capable of transporting cargo weighing up to 9 tons.

Tatra Defence (TD) from the CSG Defence division, specializes in the development and production of armored land vehicles, such as the Pandur 8x8 or TITUS 6x6 types. TD will bring to Kielce a new special medical evacuation vehicle TADEAS MEV on a Tatra 6x6 chassis, which will have its premiere there. The TADEAS vehicle has already been presented in Poland in other versions in previous years, and TD, together with the local company Huta Stalowa Wola, has prepared a Polonized version of TADEAS called MTV 6x6 Heron, which will be produced in Poland for the local armed forces. The novelty therefore has great potential to attract attention in Poland.

Excalibur Army company, which is also part of the CSG Defence division, will exhibit for the first time at the fair a model of a special container system designed together with the Czech company 3Dfence, which represents a modular container solution for the fast, autonomous and scalable production of advanced 3D printed unmanned aircraft directly in field conditions. One production unit can produce up to 200 drones per month, in addition, the entire system can also contain other specialized containers for the safe storage of unmanned aircraft, as well as command containers for the control and mission planning of a mixture of unmanned vehicles. Excalibur Army will also exhibit the D-20 and D-22 drones capable of functioning as reconnaissance vehicles or attack drones with automatic takeoff and landing. The drones feature a folding structure with stealth technology, are manufactured by 3D printing and are also very easily portable in a special backpack.

Excalibur Army will also present its entire portfolio of combat and support vehicles in the form of audiovisual presentations. This will primarily include the modern Morana and Dita self-propelled howitzers, which have 155 mm NATO-standard guns, but also other key products, such as the Treva-30 recovery and evacuation vehicle, the RM-70 Vampire rocket launcher, and the Patriot 4x4 medium-class armored vehicle, which is currently being introduced into the Polish army under the name Waran 4x4. Excalibur Army will also present engineer and special vehicles in the form of AM-50EX and AM-70EX bridge vehicles or the DECON decontamination vehicle, all on Tatra chassis.

Another exhibitor at the joint CSG stand will be the MSM Group from the CSG Defence division, which includes several manufacturers of modern medium-caliber and large-caliber ammunition. ZVS is a traditional Slovak company that has specialized in artillery ammunition for decades. It will bring to Kielce a sample of artillery ammunition in the standard 155 mm NATO caliber and also in the 122 mm caliber, as well as various types of fuzes and components for these types of ammunition. Another Slovak company, VOP Nováky, will show the full range of training ammunition in the 155 mm, 152 mm and 122 mm calibers, as well as mortar ammunition in the 60 mm, 81 mm or 120 mm calibers at MSPO.

The Spanish company Fábrica de Municiones Granada also belongs to the MSM Group. It will present to visitors to the exhibition center in Kielce various types of tank ammunition in the 120 mm and 105 mm calibers, which are standard for modern NATO battle tanks. In addition, the Spanish company will also exhibit EOD components. The MSM Group now also includes the company ZVI Vsetín, which will exhibit new 30x173 mm medium-caliber ammunition in Kielce, intended for infantry fighting vehicles or remotely controlled weapon stations, for example.

The company Vývoj Martin, part of CSG Land Systems, will bring two types of military containers to Poland. They were developed in cooperation with the Polish partner WB Electronics and represent the most modern solution for mobile stations for commanders and operators of the latest unmanned aerial vehicle systems. The containers and their equipment were developed for the needs of the Polish army and meet the highest standards of resistance as well as cyber and electromagnetic protection. The equipment of the containers allows for the processing, analysis and sharing of data from various sensors up to the NATO Secret level.

The CSG Aerospace division will be represented by the company Pocket Virtuality, which will present its Lumnio electronic platform intended for the service and maintenance of vehicles or other equipment using digitized manuals, remote support and augmented reality. To do this, it uses both mobile devices, such as tablets or mobile phones, and RealWear smart glasses, which allow working in demanding conditions with free hands. The manufacturer will present the Lumnio platform to visitors to the fair as a practical tool in the field of maintenance and service of military equipment in real demonstrations based on the requirements of the Czech Army on vehicles manufactured by Tatra Defence. Functionalities include, for example, the digitization of printed and PDF manuals into clear step-by-step instructions enriched with real photos and short videos, as well as recording the know-how of experienced technicians directly in the field or advanced remote visual support for technicians and vehicle crews.

CSG Polska, which is responsible for the CSG Group's business activities on the Polish market, will also be present at the stand. CSG Polska specializes in the distribution of products in the areas of defense and security, automotive, aviation and railway industries.

The importance of the MSPO trade fair in Kielce not only for Europe is illustrated by the prestigious names of the exhibitors but also by specific numbers: during last year's 32nd edition, 769 exhibitors from 34 countries of the world presented themselves to the professional public and visitors on an area of more than 35 thousand m2. In addition to domestic Polish manufacturers, there were producers from Australia, Canada, the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic, Spain, but also from Hong Kong, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, etc. The companies of the CSG group consider the MSPO trade fair to be the most important in Europe next to the Eurosatory in Paris, as evidenced, for example, by the fact that they have presented some of their products here in the past in European premieres, but also by the awards for CSG for the best stand design among all exhibitors in 2021 and 2023.
