Tatra now offers oils and lubricants under its own brand

For decades, Tatra Trucks has been supplying customers in many markets with trucks for a variety of purposes, operating on the road and in difficult terrain in all weather conditions. Tatra trucks need adequate care and service facilities for their demanding service, so the Tatra will now also distribute its own oils and lubricants.

For example, Tatra Trucks has long provided its customers and Tatra operators with technical support and consultation, dispatched service experts, supplied spare parts or trained technicians in its service centre who then take care of Tatra vehicles in a number of countries. Most recently, the Kopřivnice company will supply its partners and customers with operating oils and lubricants under its own brand.

Tatra Trucks, in cooperation with TotalEnergies, the world's leading manufacturer of lubricants, has developed and prepared high-quality engine, transmission and hydraulic oils specifically for Tatra vehicles of all model series. TotalEnergies is a strong strategic partner in the development and production of lubricants and, thanks to its vast experience, is able to adapt lubricants to the specific requirements of the automotive industry. The new engine and gear oils thus meet the demanding requirements for both new and older Tatra vehicle models.

In this way, Tatra wants to ensure the distribution of oils and lubricants for dealers, partners and customers with guaranteed quality that can be controlled. Checks will be carried out regularly through laboratory tests, which can also be carried out at the customer's premises. This will also ensure that Tatra's vehicles are filled with the same oils and lubricants as they leave the production line when they are repaired at authorised workshops.

Tatra Trucks' contract partners, i.e. dealers and service centres, will recommend Tatra branded oils to all customers. In the first phase, these products will be sold through dealers, including to end customers. Tatra will offer incentive support programmes for partners in the distribution of branded oils and lubricants, as well as training for service technicians. Additional lubricant-related products are in the pipeline and the range will be further expanded.
