Tatra Trucks company won the prestigious Red Dot award for the design of the latest generation of Tatra Force model line
A few days ago, Tatra Trucks company achieved another great success. For the first time in its history, it won the Red Dot award in the Product Design category, even twice. Tatra Force vehicles of the latest third generation were decorated with this award, which is one of the most prestigious internationally in the field of design, while a version with a four-door cab was presented, as well as a version of the development line known as e-Drive with an electric traction motor and hydrogen fuel cells.

TATRA PHOENIX entering Belgium

The new TATRA PHOENIX model range made in Kopřivnice was presented to customers in Belgium at two presentation events. The show lasted six days.

It has been almost a year since success in the prestigious international contest "International Truck of the Year 2012" when the TATRA PHOENIX truck won the best AWD vehicle award in Kortrijk, Belgium. The new model range of the Kopřivnice based company was presented in Belgium during dynamic presentations.
From September 15 until September 16, there was a presentation event organized by the Garage Mioli company, which is also an importer of John Deer forestry technology. The event took place in Bande, Belgium. Customers were offered a possibility to get a test drive in a TATRA PHOENIX 6x6 truck equipped with a Meiller body.
An event called "Experience Days" organized by the Turbo Trucks company, a part of the Turbo's Hoet Group, was held in Domaine de Jaurieu in Belgian Mont-de-l'Enclus from September 20 until September 23. Belgian and French visitors could get a test drive in a 6x6 TATRA PHOENIX vehicle equipped with a Meiller body and in a 8x8 TATRA PHOENIX with a VS-Mont body.
After the test drives, all visitors appreciated qualities and advantages of these vehicles, primarily comfort and speed in off-road conditions.
Both events, the aim of which was to verify needs of Belgian and French customers, were attended by more than 2,700 visitors. There were 700 test drives, and it was particularly the TATRA PHOENIX trucks that attracted most attention.
The TATRA PHOENIX model range is scheduled to be launched in Belgium in the year 2013.
