Tatra Trucks will present a special Tatra Phoenix tractor for agriculture at the Agritechnica 2023 trade fair

From November 12 to 18, the traditional Agritechnica trade fair will be held in Hannover, Germany. It is one of the largest exhibition events in the field of agricultural technology and machinery in the world. The oldest and largest Czech manufacturer of trucks, Tatra Trucks, will be participating in the fair several times, presenting a new special agricultural tractor of the Tatra Phoenix model line.

The Tatra Trucks company has in its production portfolio several model lines of heavy and medium trucks for various segments in a wide range of versions. The main pillar for the civilian market is represented by the Tatra Phoenix model line, which is used in agriculture, in the construction and mining industry, in municipal services and in road maintenance or by firefighters and rescue service. During this year's Agritechnica fair, Tatra Trucks will present the special Tatra Phoenix Euro 6 semi-trailer tractor with a chassis in a 4x4 configuration intended for operation with agricultural semi-trailers. The novelty will be exhibited at the stand B19 of the Tatra Trucks company in hall number 4.

The truck is equipped with a unique and proven chassis of the Tatra concept with a central backbone tube and independently suspended half-axles with all-wheel drive, while it is adapted for movement both on agricultural areas and on standard roads. The crew has at their disposal a medium sleeping cabin with a bed under which there is a storage space. The cabin equipment also includes dependent water heating and an independent Airtonic heating and air conditioning system. The truck is powered by a 330 kW Paccar MX-11 engine, which is connected to an Allison 4500PR automatic transmission with a retarder. The maximum weight of the truck is 20 tons, the maximum load on each axle of the truck can reach 10 tons, the maximum weight of the vehicle and trailer set is 44 tons.

The traditional Agritechnica trade fair takes place every two years and its history began in the mid-1980s in Frankfurt am Main. Since the mid-1990s, it has been held regularly in Hanover, enjoying great favor from both exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. This year, exhibitors from 53 countries will be present at the Hanover fair in more than 20 exhibition halls, and hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected.
