Tatra Trucks company won the prestigious Red Dot award for the design of the latest generation of Tatra Force model line
A few days ago, Tatra Trucks company achieved another great success. For the first time in its history, it won the Red Dot award in the Product Design category, even twice. Tatra Force vehicles of the latest third generation were decorated with this award, which is one of the most prestigious internationally in the field of design, while a version with a four-door cab was presented, as well as a version of the development line known as e-Drive with an electric traction motor and hydrogen fuel cells.

TATRA TRUCKS will introduce a special TATRA PHOENIX vehicle at Agritechnica 2017

In mid-November, the traditional Agritechnica trade fair will take place in Hannover, Germany. It is one of the largest exhibition events in the field of agricultural technology and machinery in the world. This year, TATRA TRUCKS will also be represented at the fair.
Two years have elapsed and in Hannover, Agritechnica will open again on November 12 - 18. Among the thousands of exhibitors, TATRA TRUCKS will be also presented. In cooperation with its German dealer Metallbau und Fahrzeughandel Friedrich, the company will be exhibiting a special TATRA PHOENIX Euro 6 truck in a semi-trailer version with a 4x4 chassis designed for completion with agricultural semi-trailers (popularly known as Tatractor). The new special vehicle is equipped with an extended sleeper cab and is adapted to move both on farmland and on ordinary roads. The new truck will be displayed on a common stand of the Koprivnice company and the aforementioned dealer in Hall 4, Stand A21.
Traditional Agritechnica is held every two years and its history began in the mid-1980s in Frankfurt am Main. Since the mid-1990s, he has been regularly hosted in Hannover, enjoying great appetite both for exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. In 2015, more than 450,000 visitors from 115 countries visited the Hannover Fair, with over 2,800 exhibitors from 52 countries in more than 20 exhibition halls exhibiting their production and production opportunities. The best products are traditionally valued by gold and silver trade fairs awards.

TATRA TRUCKS took over in 2013 the world-renowned Kopřivnice truck manufacturer, which has undergone a successful restructuring after the ownership structure change. The owners of the company are Czech entrepreneurs Jaroslav Strnad with a share of 65 percent and René Matera with 35 percent. In addition to standardized model lines, the Tatra also produces special trucks tailored to customer requirements. Eighty percent of the automaker's output is destined for export. TATRA TRUCKS employs more than 1300 employees and more than 600 employees work in the subsidiary TATRA METALURGIE, focusing mainly on foundries and forging. TATRA TRUCKS revenues for 2016 amounted to CZK 5.4 billion, with a profit of 482 million. In 2016, TATRA TRUCKS produced 1,326 vehicles, with production more than 50 percent year on year.
